How to avoid / reduce the false notification

Please check the followings to avoid and reduce the false notification.

  1. Adjust the motion detection sensitivity. To do so, go to ‘System setup > Channel setup > Video manage’.
  2. High sensitivity setting can cause motion detection to be triggered even by slightest changes in the picture. Consequently, causing the false motion detection.

  3. Change the camera angle to frame only the area you need. While you are doing that, try to avoid easily movable objects. For example, trees, small vegetations, flags, and such.

  5. You can also use the ‘Area edit’ to select the area you want.
    ‘System setup > Channel setup > Video detection’

    Click left mouse button to select or deselect the tile.
    Highlighted with red is the area covered by motion detection.
  7. Combine the technics mentioned above to refine and test out for the best result.
