How to fix unstable camera connection
The unstable camera connection is normally due to the distance (out of range) or signal interference.
How to fix unstable camera connection
- Check to make sure the antennas are screwed in all the way
- Point the antenna straigt up or down for best signal rate.
- Make sure the cameras are not located next to metal objects, which can reduce the signal rate.
- Check and see if the NVR system is located too close to the internet router. If the NVR system is located to close to the internet router (side by side or top of the NVR system) can interfere with the signal reducing the signal rate.
- In case of the signal interference you can change the WiFi channel within the NVR system, so the NVR signal will be running on the different channel to reduce the interference.
To change the WiFi channel, please go to ‘System setup > Network setup > WiFi setup’. From the WiFi setup change the ‘Wifi channel’ to higher ’11’ and click ‘Apply’ to save the setting. (In case your internet router is running on the high WiFi channel, please change it to lower channel)
